Company history
Quality Control
The fabric
All our textiles are weaved, finished and especially checked by us during each phase of their production. We purchase the best yarns on the market, certified throughout their entire chain, and then weave them using state-of-the-art techniques. The finishing of the fabric is performed without the use of toxic products, thus creating garments that do not create allergies or irritation to the wearer.
Pure wool
Our pure new wool fabrics are made from fine yarns, to ensure softness, and double-twisted, to give them pliability, strength and softness, as well as ease of maintenance and cleaning. We mainly use merino wool yarns, which are as restful as other wools, but thinner than these, and can therefore also be used in warmer seasons.
The mixed wool
We make our woollen polyester fabrics from blended yarns of Trevira 350, the finest polyester available, and fine merino wools. Double twisting guarantees softness and durability far greater than any other processing. This type of fabric guarantees the finished garment not only durability, but also good breathability and the avoidance of annoying lint.
The textiles with stripes
Our striped fabrics are created by blending merino wools and fine silks, all made to our own design. Their longevity is ensured by the first-class yarns, which are made entirely by us, and by the processing they undergo during the various stages of their weaving and finishing. Each fabric is treated with non-toxic anti-mothermic products.
The embroidery
Our embroideries are machine-made on the basis of ancient, artisanal embroidery techniques, thus guaranteeing the designs that brightness and play of light and shadow that have always distinguished Panarotto garments. The constant development of embroidery techniques, combined with the use of state-of-the-art machinery, ensures consistent results and continuous improvement in the embroidery techniques themselves.
The sewing
Our garments are tailored in a sartorial manner, from the cutting by machine or by hand, to the tailoring made using techniques from the tradition of Italian haute couture, to the ironing used at various times during production. While these small precautions lengthen the garment’s production time, they also double the product’s life cycle, and maintain the same shape even after many years.
Corporate Social Responsibility
In recent years, the importance of actions to protect the environment and the people who work for and in the company has begun to dictate the pace related to its development. Since 2010 we realize the totality of our production using clean energy for more than half of our consumption. Since 2013 our supply chain has been certified by the Chamber of Commerce, so we can ensure the traceability of every Panarotto-branded product. The weaving, finishing, embroidery and packaging are all zero kilometers, which is why we write Made in Vicenza on each of our items.
Responsibility to the environment
All our garments are cut and made using electricity mostly generated from renewable sources. The yarns used come from traceable production chains, from sustainable farms and cultivations. Our fabrics are spun, woven and finished in certified mills, without using any products that are toxic or harmful to human health or the environment. Our machinery is all state-of-the-art to ensure good energy performance, which we constantly monitor. The short supply chain allows us to decrease the CO2 produced by transportation and logistics of our production. All of our packaging is 100% recyclable.
Responsibility to our community
Our company has been producing since 1989 within the municipality of Montecchio Maggiore (VI), preferring a short supply chain and a targeted use of energy sources. One of our points of pride comes from our Made in Vicenza brand: our entire production chain is located within the province of Vicenza. We support communication activities in the dioceses of Vicenza, Verona, Padua and Rovigo Constant sponsorship of selected local non-profit organizations. We also support associations and projects in the area, as it is thanks to this that we have been able to accomplish what we have done so far.
